Dear Oakdale Families and Community,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Oakdale School, along with Roxana Cobbs, our new Vice Principal for the 2026-2027 school year. I am thrilled to be able to continue working closely with our families, students, staff, and community partners to ensure every student's success. Our dedicated staff is committed to making Oakdale School a safe and productive environment where all students can learn and thrive. Together, we will create a space where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

This Year's Focus is Academics, Behavior, and Attendance.

We are placing special emphasis on attendance. Regular, on-time attendance is imperative for student success. When students arrive on time and ready to learn each day, they build strong academic foundations and develop essential life skills that will serve them well into the future.

Welcome Back, Oakdale Community!

It is an absolute joy to return home to Oakdale after serving as Vice Principal at Strauch Elementary for the past three years! I am thrilled to bring new experiences and perspectives back to the community I love so dearly. I am especially excited to collaborate with our new Principal, Mrs. Lee-Yang, our fabulous teaching staff, and every single team member who supports our students daily.

As we kick off the 2026–2027 school year, we are placing a special focus on two key pillars of student success: daily attendance and strong home-school collaboration. Consistent daily attendance helps students build lifelong habits and stay engaged, while a strong partnership between school and home ensures every child has the support they need to truly thrive.
